Álisson, first-choice goalkeeper of Internacional and the Brazilian national team, is a target of two major Italian sides, Juventus and AS Roma.
According to the information from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma director Walter Sabatini thought he had a deal with Internacional for the transfer of Álisson, but Juventus, in good connections with investment group Doyen, have sealed the agreement for a fee of €7 million. Asked by Globo Esporte on the interest from Juventus, sporting director of the club, Giuseppe Marota didn’t rule out signing the 23-year-old. AS Roma had planned to loan out the goalkeeper to another Italian side, believed to be Frosinone, until the end of the European season.
After Sunday’s game against Cruzeiro, Álisson said that he’s yet to decide his future, but admitted there are proposals from Juventus and Roma. He said: “There is interest from these clubs, yes. But I didn’t say yes or no to anyone. We have proposals, we know the interest of Juventus and Roma, and I know Internacional’s interest. No use talking about any situation because it is not true. I think about my career, but also about Inter. It has to be good for everybody. It’s difficult to say what can happen. I have this care so that everyone is satisfied; of course, always thinking about my career, and my life. I have a great desire to play in Europe, I’ve always said that, but there’s also the desire to win something big at Inter.”
