After suffering a cruciate ligament injury to his left knee during the U20 World Cup in June, Cruzeiro forward Judivan underwent two surgeries to recover from the problem.
The attacker hasn’t been lucky in recent months and the 20-year-old will have to undergo a new arthroscopy. In the first surgical procedure, Judivan underwent a reconstruction of the posterior cruciate ligament. As there was no restoration of range of motion, an arthroscopic surgery in October was performed in order to free up the movement of the joint and have gained flexibility, and the new arthroscopy will be held this week.
Judivan came through the club’s youth teams, and made his professional debut in the final stretch of the 2014 Brazilian Championship. In June this year, he stood out for Brazil in the U20 World Cup, before suffering an horrible injury following a violent tackle from Uruguay defender Mauricio Lemos.
