After signing the contract, Rafinha said that he is very happy to be able to continue at the club until 2020, and the new deal also has release clause of €75 million. The Brazilian signed the contract in the club’s office, in the presence of the president Josep Maria Bartomeu, the sports vice president Jordi Mestre, and technical secretary Robert Fernández. It’s very nice to be enjoying this. Barça is my home. I came here when I was just 13 and I’m very happy to be here.”
On the club’s excellent form, he added: “When you bring the best players in the world together with hard work and consistency, these are the results you get.”
