Malcom has been linked with a move to Portugal since the middle of the year, but he can have a real opportunity to go to Europe soon.
According to the report from Portuguese newspaper A Bola, Benfica board have discussed the possibility of signing Malcom, and are preparing a proposal to take him in the January transfer window. Benfica would be willing to offer the 18-year-old a contract until June 2021. Corinthians own just 30% economic rights of the player, and an agreement could be reached for a fee of €12 million.
On the other hand, newspaper Record says that Benfica have made an offer of €6m for 50% of the economic rights of Malcom, and that negotiations are being conducted by two businessmen. Brazilian journalist Bruno Andrade claims Sevilla have asked financial information to formalize an official proposal for the teenager, and a representative of the Spanish team is expected in Brazil in the coming days.
