President of Brazilian club Internacional, Vitório Piffero, has confirmed that they’re in talks with goalkeeper Álisson over a contract renewal.
Álisson has been linked with a move to Europe, and more specifically AS Roma,  since last summer, but the president says that the goalkeeper is not for sale at any price. Álisson was the third choice goalkeeper at Internacional until October last year, and has worked his way through to be the first choice for club amd country. Álisson made his debut for Brazil against Venezuela in the World Cup qualifiers last month, and kept his place in Buenos Aires on Friday. He’s set to start against Peru on Tuesday in Salvador after impressing the coaching staff. Piffero told CalcioMercato: “There’s no business to be done. Some European club appear to be interested in Álisson, some from Italy, but nothing more. We are currently discussing a new contract with Álisson. He does not have a price, because he is not for sale.”
