Willian has said Chelsea are gaining confidence after his late winner brought them victory over Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League on Wednesday.
The Brazilian who has been one of the only players that can take any praise the clubs dismal start to the season dispatched a late free-kick to give The Blues all three points.
A raucous home support at Stamford Bridge provided the back-drop for Chelsea’s second win in six games which has eased the pressure on boss Jose Mourinho.
He told the Chelsea official website “Confidence is coming for us and the results are coming as well,”
“We have to keep going and keep fighting on the pitch. We lost some games and it’s been difficult for us, but we are trying to play better.
“We know we have to improve more and keep going in the same away.”
The Brazilian also drew special praise from manager Jose Mourinho who has been one of the star performers during this difficult spell.
He told Chelsea TV: “If somebody deserves the winning goal, I think Willian is perfect. His performance was complete.”
