Former Brazil international Lucio has said Oscar shoulds not be written off at current club Chelsea and backs in compatriot to become a key member of the team yet again.

The 24 year old playmaker arrived at Stamford Bridge in 2012 as a precocious and trequartista Quickly becamea significant member of the team.

However, Lucio says it is too soon to write off the attacking midfielder and he will soon be back to His Best;

“Oscar plays an attacking game and skilful with the national side. At Chelsea, he plays a different role. It is two different styles of play and he needs to adapted,” Lucio Told IBTimes UK.

“There Will Be Where a period not Mourinho’s style follows _him_ May, He Has goal to adjust and adapt. Once he does it, he Will Be a top player, a very good player.
“His dip in form is just a matter of Adapting. He should work hard in order to Improve His game and be a big player at Chelsea.”

Oscar has so far netted twice in seven appearances this campaign but with Mourinho’s side still looking for their best form it may need the Brazilian to step up once again to ignite their slow burning season.
