The Brazilian national team’s 3-1 victory over Venezuela last week at Fortaleza hasn’t convinced the CBF and they continue to have doubts over the work of Dunga.
As reported by Lancenet!, according to a vice-president of the federation, Dunga hasn’t convinced, and the evaluation is that, he does well in friendly games, but during official competitions, Dunga’s men perform well below expectations. The performances of the team in Copa América, and in the first two World Cup qualifiers were not convincing to CBF. Against Chile, coach was criticized for having retreated in the second half, giving too much space to the opposition who took advantage. The report states that despite the win over Venezuela, there were many field failures, and the insistence on Oscar has angered a lot of people.
Also, according to one of the directors of the CBF, the match against Argentina in Buenos Aires next month will be decisive for Dunga. If Brazil lose and lose playing badly, Dunga should only be kept for the next match against Peru, and then would be sacked.
