Former Santos president Luis Álvaro de Oliveira Ribeiro has once again made some comments about Barcelona forward Neymar and his father, highlighting the bad relationship between them.
LAOR has previously stated that he didn’t like the way the father of Neymar acted when the player was transferred to Barcelona, and made several accusations against him, claiming that he was “a liar who has two faces and a bad character.” This resulted in the court ordering him to pay R$ 20,000 to Neymar’s dad for moral damage earlier this year. And now, the 72-year-old didn’t even wished to mention the name of the player’s father when asked about him during an interview with the website Torcedores. He said: “I have no interest in meeting Neymar, or Neymar’s father. This is the toothpaste that came out of the tube. Do I regret something? Perhaps, in trusting other people’s words.”
He added: “Neymar follows his way, and I follow mine. His father? I do not want to mention his name.”
