Orlando City star Kaká has been called up by Dunga to Brazil’s squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Chile, in Santiago, and Venezuela, in Fortaleza.
Kaká has been picked to replace injured Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho. 33-year-old Kaká was part of the national squad for the friendly games in September against Costa Rica and United States. He played in the second half in the first game, but didn’t enter the pitch to face USA following an injury. Before that, he had participated in the victories over Argentina and Japan in 2014, also under Dunga.
Philippe Coutinho is the second Liverpool player to be removed from the list as Roberto Firmino had already been cut off and was replaced by 35-year-old Santos striker Ricardo Oliveira. Bayern Munich’s Rafinha had turned down the call up, and Dunga selected Barcelona full-back Dani Alves to replace him.
