Jhon Cley leaves Vasco and signs contract with Al-Qadisiyah
21-year-old forward Jhon Cley has left Vasco da Gama and signed a contract with Saudi Arabian club Al-Qadisiyah on Monday.
The contract lasts for four years and Jhon Cley is eager to get started at his new club and hopes to match the expectations. A professional since 2012, Jhon Cley played in 65 matches for Vasco da Gama and scored three goals, one which came in the derby against Fluminense. As mentioned in Globo Esporte, Jhon Cley had a contract with Vasco until the end of this year, but the Brazilian club received a proposal in the region of US $500,000. Jhon Cley said: "I was very well received here and I'm very eager to get on the field. This is a good opportunity for my career and I hope to match the expectations. I will continue to always root for my friends at Vasco; even distant, but always thinking about them."
