Both have slight injuries, but trained with the ball and it’s not completely ruled out that they’ll face rivals Flamengo on Sunday.
As mentioned in Globo Esporte, Fluminense striker Fred is recovering from a thigh injury and initially did physical works, but then joined in for a technical activity on a small field. However, training until Saturday will determine whether the striker will be available for selection on Sunday at the Maracanã stadium. Meanwhile, Ronaldinho was included in all the activities done by the other athletes, but just like Fred, there’s no confirmation that he will line up against Flamengo. Full-back Wellington Silva, recovering from a right thigh problem, also trained, while defender Gum should be fit for the showdown at Maracanã. Recent poor results have seen Fluminense drop to seventh in the Brasileirão standings.
