Neymar insists Barcelona fans have “nothing to worry about” despite reports linking him with a move to Manchester United.
Sky Sports report that United have the wage structure and transfer funds in place to sign Neymar, but have been told the Brazil international is not for sale after making initial enquiries earlier in the summer. Barça president Josep Maria Bartomeu, however, dismissed talk of a move away from the Nou Camp for Neymar and said the club were preparing to offer the 23-year-old a new long-term contract to remain at the club. Neymar said: “When I hear things like that, I don’t think about it. I hear them, but I’m totally at ease. I’m very happy at Barca and with my team-mates. Barça fans have nothing to worry about.”
