Everton are considering a bid for Bayern Munich centre-back Dante, who would come in as a replacement for John Stones, should the 20-year-old be sold to Chelsea.
German newspaper Bild report that the Toffees have offered €20 million for the services of the Brazil international, although Bayern boss Pep Guardialoa’s position on selling the 31-year-old is not yet known.
Everton, however, could be facing strong competition from Dante’s former club Borussia Mönchengladbach and Bayer Leverkusen who are both well placed to obtain the signature of the player, according to a Bild source. AS Roma and Galatasaray are also thought to been keen on the defender whose current contract with Bayern runs until 2017.
