India is not a place renowned for football but the Indian Super League is starting to attract players from overseas as it grows in stature.

Chicão is a former Copa Libertadores and Club World Cup winner but will now ply his trade with Delhi Dynamos after moving away from Brazil for the first time in his career. The 34 year old centre back will join up with former global superstar Roberto Carlos who manages the club.

Chicão spent the best years of his career with Corinthians before moving to Flamengo in 2013. A short spell at Bahia was not succesful but now he has the chance to start over in a league that was only formed in 2013.

The Indian Super League will kick off in October and contains eight teams. Zico will also be a star attraction as he manages Goa.
