Casemiro insisted that Real Madrid are not worried over their goal-shy pre-season, in which they drew four blanks in eight games.
The midfielder is also confident that he can make an impact at Real Madrid following his spell on loan at Porto and made it clear that the squad are fully focused on themselves. He was quoted in MARCA: “We’re not worried because Cristiano will probably get 60 goals, Bale will get 40, and then there’s Benzema, James, Isco and so on. We have great players, so we’re not worried about it. I’ve come back here to play an important role and I’m going to work hard to make that happen.”
He continued: “I’m here to help Real Madrid and will do what the coach asks me to do in order to help the team. We’re not thinking about Barcelona. We have to think about the things we did last season and what we have to do this time round to win La Liga, the cup and the Champions League.”
