Guilherme Siqueira is trying to force his way out of Atlético de Madrid, according to reports.

AS, as cited by website Football Italia, claims that the left full-back has requested to club officials that he does not train with Head Coach Diego Simeone’s first-team squad, in the hope that he can secure a move away before the summer transfer window closes.

The 29 year-old had been expected to join Juventus, but despite terms reportedly being agreed, the Bianconeri are now set to sign FC Porto’s Alex Sandro instead, after he became available in their price range.

Internazionale, who owned Siqueira between December 2004 and July 2006, are believed to be keen on securing him once more, while Paris Saint-Germain are also considering a move, as they look to replace Roma-bound Lucas Digne.

The motivation for Siqueira to move is Atlético’s signing of Filipe Luís from Chelsea.

The Brazil international was only sold in the 2014 summer transfer window, but a lack of playing time has lead to him returning and he is expected to be first choice at left full-back.

Siqueira largely had that role last season, following his arrival from Granada for a reported fee of €10 million in July 2014. He featured 37 times in all competitions, scoring once.
