New AS Roma signing Gérson believes the club will ‘fight for the title’ this season, and thanks fans for his welcome.
The Brazilian talent will start playing for Roma from 2016, and was presented to fans yesterday, but will remain with current club Fluminense until January. He said: “I’m very happy with the way I was received, and the affection of the fans. I want to thank the club very much. I saw the friendly, [against Sevilla], it was sensational. The team is strong, and will fight for the title. Now I’ll go back to Brazil, and I want to have a great season, for myself and for the Fluminense fans."
