The Real Madrid midfielder was born in Bom Jesus de Goiás in Brazil, and the local figure that most managed his progress was his first coach, Professor Hamilton.
Lucas Silva was delighted to pay for the renovation of the Hamilton family’s home, which has gone from being a modest town house to a modern one. Lucas said: “If it weren’t for him, I wouldn’t be playing for Real Madrid and wouldn’t have achieved anything of what I have achieved.”
An emotional Professor Hamilton said: “We couldn’t be more thankful. We wish Lucas all the health and all the good fortune that God may give him. He is a magnificent kid, very caring and very family-loving.”
