Atlético de Madrid defender Guilherme Siqueira has agreed a move to Juventus, according to reports.

The website of respected Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claims that the Brazilian left full-back is set to for a switch to Turin, assuming personal terms can be settled.

Di Marzio suggests Juventus have already agreed a currently undisclosed fee with Atlético for Siqueira and are now negotiating with his entourage on a three year contract, which will be worth around €2.3 million a season, plus bonuses.

Juventus officials are believed to be confident that a deal can be completed in the coming days and it is possible that an official confirmation could arrive after the Serie A holders face Lazio in the Supercoppa Italiana in Shanghai on Saturday.

Siqueira’s expected departure from Atlético comes on the back of Filipe Luís’ return to the club from Chelsea.

The 29 year-old only arrived from Granada for a reported fee of €10 million in July 2014 and has a contract until June 2018.

He was originally brought in as a replacement for Filipe, who will now likely deputise for him, and went on to make 37 appearances in all competitions, scoring once. He was also part of the squad that won the 2014 Supercopa de España.

Prior to joining Atlético, Siqueira had a year on loan at Benfica from Granada and has also already played in Italy at numerous clubs, including Internazionale and Lazio.
