Dunga’s Seleçāo will be flying to the USA in early September to prepare for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers which will start in October. Brazil were originally scheduled only to face the United States on September 8, but now it seems that the CBF has organised a second match to be held on September 5.
The tie will be against Costa Rica in East Rutherford, in the suburbs of New Jersey. This will be Brazil’s first game since the quarter-final of the Copa América and will replace the match originally scheduled against Argentina which has been cancelled.
The games will give Dunga an opportunity to try out alternatives strikers as Neymar will be suspended for his side’s first two qualifying matches.
