Thiago Motta has admitted that a move to Atlético Madrid would be a “big challenge” for him but concedes club president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi is in charge of his future. He was quoted in GOAL: The club knows my will,” he told L’Équipe. “I want to leave. We talked and we will continue to speak until the end. It will be Nasser Al-Khelaïfi who will decide my future. I have something in my head and I know that it came out in the press. We talked about Atlético Madrid, it’s a club where could do everything I haven’t done at other clubs so far. It is a big challenge.”
