Orlando City are pushing hard to seal a deal for São Paulo midfielder Paulo Henrique Ganso.
The 25 year old former wonder kid is said to be extremely keen to make the move and join up with Ricardo Kaka at the club. São Paulo are currently considering an offer for the playmaker.
Ganso announced himself to the world in 2008 while playing for Santos and was one of world football’s hottest prospects. He has had a difficult time in the last few years though and was booed by 60,000 people in front of the Morumbi Coritiba.
The decision rests with São Paulo president Carlos Miguel Aidar. Despite Ganso being contracted until 2017 the offer is expected to be accepted due to São Paulo’s financial difficulties.
