Current Brasileirão leaders, Atlético Mineir, have finally finalised transfer deals for two on-loan stars, with both midfielder Rafael Carioca, from Spartak Moscow, and the left back, Douglas Santos from Udinese committing to four-year contracts at Galo.

Midfielder Maicosuel will, however, be leaving to join Al Sharjah of the United Arab Emirates, a deal for which the Mineiro side should receive just under €2 million. And Maicosuel might not be the only player to be on his way out, with young starlet Carlos reportedly sparking interest from Eastern Europe in the shape of Spartak Moscow and Shakhtar Donetsk. The Moscow club are likely to be making a large offer for the striker today, according to his agent, Jorge Machado.
