Orlando City SC midfielder Kaká has been confirmed in the 2015 MLS All-Star roster.

The Brazil international – capped 89 times since debuting in 2002 – was initially chosen as part of the Fan XI – voted for online and through social member from a list of players chosen by members of the press – and has retained his place in the final squad that was announced on Saturday.

Kaká is the only Brazilian to be chosen for the match, which will take place at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Colorado on 29th July.

The opposition for the contest will be Tottenham Hotspur, while the MLS All-Stars will be managed by Pablo Mastroeni, who is Head Coach of Colorado Rapids.

Kaká’s inclusion in the squad comes on the back of his excellent start to his time with Orlando City.

The 33 year-old has scored nine goals and provided two assists in 19 appearances to date, but he was admittedly sent off in the recent 1-1 draw away to Real Salt Lake.
