It’s all change at Botafogo, where, having sacked coach René Simões, the arrival of two new Uruguayan players has also been announced.
Alvaro Navarro, a 30-year-old, striker from Olmedo in Ecuador and Gonzalo Bazallo, a defensive midfielder from Rentistas in Uruguay have signed one-year loan deals with the “Fogão”. They will be presented to the media on Friday.
Botafogo currently top the Brazilian Serie B on goal difference, level on points with three other sides.
