Tigres striker Rafael Sobis says he doesn’t plan taking it easy when he comes up against former club Internacional in the Copa Libertadores semi-final first leg on Wednesday.

The return to the Beira-Rio stadium will be an emotional one for the forward, who came up through the ranks at the Porto Alegre based club where he also won two Copa Libertadores, but he remains focused on the task in hand – helping his Mexican teammates reach a first Libertadores final.

“We have already demonstrated our qualities,” he said. “We still have two games now and maybe two more after. This is a special duel for me, because I had played at Inter since childhood. But I stand today wearing another team’s shirt and I want to make history with Tigres. “
