Orlando City FC midfielder Kaká has been named in the 2015 MLS All-Star Game Fan XI.

The Brazilian has been included after fans registered their vote online and through social media, with members of the press selecting eight players from each franchise to create the ballot for them to choose from.

The 2015 MLS All-Star game will be held on Wednesday 29th July at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Colorado. The opposition this year is Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.

The compete 22 man squad that is competing will be announced on Saturday, with Commissioner Don Garber’s two picks – Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard – added to 20 players chosen by MLS All-Star Head Coach Pablo Mastroeni.

Kaká’s inclusion in the Fan XI does not guarantee him a place in the final squad, but all votes are taken into consideration.

The 33 year-old has made a strong start to his time at Orlando, with his contributions helping the MLS newcomers to 4th in the Eastern Conference.

In 18 appearances, he has scored nine goals and made eight assists, though he was sent off in his last outing – a 1-1 draw away to Real Salt Lake.
