After eight years at Shakhtar Donetsk, striker Luiz Adriano striker has agreed a contract to sign for AC Milan for the new season. Currently awaiting administrative clearance, the Brazilian international is preparing to start the season well and quickly recover his place with the Seleção.
“I count the hours until I start training with AC Milan,” he told Globoesporte. “I am very proud to wear this shirt that has an incredible history around the world. I am realising a dream. I have started individual preparation and I’ll get myself prepared for start the season.
“When I think of Milan, I recall the great Brazilians who wore this jersey such as Kaka, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Pato, and also players like Seedorf and Maldini.
“I hope to return soon to the Seleção. To get there, I’ll have to work well in the club. Any return will be the result of good work for my club, I will give everything to get my place back.”
