Former Arsenal striker Eduardo is set to leave Flamengo in the next few days and travel back to Ukraine to join up with Shakhtar Donetsk.
The 32 year old left Shakhtar this time last year and has scored 11 goals in 37 appearances for the club. His contract is set to run until December but he told Globoesporte that it is due to be terminated by mutual consent.
The Brazilian born forward has been offered a contract he can’t refuse by Shakhtar. He played over 100 games for the club previously between 2010 and 2014.
