Napoli are closing in on an agreement for Udinese midfielder Allan, according to reports.

The website of respected Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claims that the Campania based outfit have offered satisfactory terms to Udinese and that a deal can be finalised at the start of next week.

Napoli’s offer is believed to be €12 million, with Uruguayan defender Miguel Britos included as part of the package, while forward Duván Zapata will also move to Udinese on a two year loan.

Allan is in the final year of his contract with the Zebrette – it expires in June 2016, but Napoli have strained to find an agreement to secure him.

Talks between officials and their Udinese counterparts are said to have been initiated some time ago, but it is only now that they are seemingly ready to do a deal.

Allan had also been linked with Internazionale and Juventus in recent months, as interest grew in acquiring him after another eye-catching season in Serie A.

The 24 year-old has developed into one of Italy’s most sought after midfielders with a run of strong showings at Udinese.

After arriving on loan from Granada in July 2012 – he was subsequently signed outright for a reported fee of €3 million two years later, he has gone on to establish himself in the top flight and has made 116 appearances in all competitions for the club, scoring two goals.
