Corinthians track Elche’s Jonathas

According to ESPN Brasil, Corinthians are currently negotiating with Elche’s Brazilian striker, Jonathas. The player was one of the last season’s La Liga sensations with 14 goals for the modest club from Alicante. The 26-year-old came through the ranks at Cruzeiro and made his way to Spain via Alkmaar and Torino among others. His agent is none other than Jonathan Mino Raiola (also the representative of Zlatan Ibrahimovic), who is believed to be seeking a Champions League side as the next destination for his charge.
