Flamengo boss Cristóvāo Borges has confirmed that Paolo Guerrero will make his debut for the club tomorrow against Internacional at the Beira-Rio in Porto Alegre.

The striker, who was signed from Corinthians on a free transfer, has been afforded a few days rest after returning from the Copa America where he found the net four times as Peru finished third.

Borges said:  "[Guerrero is] an important player, experienced and he has come to play. There is no problem with anyone participated in the game. [Guerrero] plays."

Flamengo are in desperate need of the extra firepower Guerrero will bring given their current plight, struggling in the Brasileirāo with ten points from eleven game, which leaves them just one point above the relegation zone in 15th place.
