Juventus Head Coach Massimiliano Allegri has outlined his admiration for ‘wildcard’ Chelsea midfielder Oscar.

The Brazil international – capped 45 times since debuting in 2011 – has been strongly linked with the Bianconeri over recent weeks and months and Allegri’s latest comments will only intensify speculation.

The well regarded tactician almost led Juventus to a historic treble last season, but with Carlos Tevez departing for Boca Juniors and Andrea Pirlo reportedly close to agreeing a switch to Major League Soccer outfit New York City FC, Allegri is set to lose two of his most prominent creative outlets.

Speaking in an interview with Italian newspaper La Repubblica, the 47 year-old confirmed that he will have to alter his approach next term and seemingly suggested that Oscar could be one of the players who can help renew Juventus.

“Without Carlos Tevez and Andrea Pirlo, Juve will have to change and experiment new solutions. I’d like someone able to invent football without being banal, the wild card variable in an otherwise balanced tactical plan.

“I like Isco of Real Madrid and the Brazilian Oscar. Among the Italians, I’d say Domenico Berardi and Federico Bernardeschi.”

Oscar’s future with Chelsea has become uncertain due to suggestions that he could be sacrificed to bring in other players.

Previous reports claimed that he may be used as bait to secure France international Paul Pogba from Juventus, while Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked in the past.

The 23 year-old, who was signed from Internacional for a reported fee of €25 million in July 2012, is contracted to Chelsea until June 2019 and last season featured 41 times in all competitions, as the Blues won the Football League Cup and Premier League title.
