The Seleção will face the Albirroja again on Saturday, four years after they were upset by the same side at Argentina 2011.
Brazil defender Thiago Silva has warned his team-mates to avoid underestimating Paraguay again if they are to avoid suffering another unexpected Copa América quarter-final exit. In the 2011 tournament in Argentina, they were eliminated by Paraguay on penalties after their last-eight encounter finished scoreless. He said: “They will be a tough opponent. Everyone who saw the last Copa América, noted that Paraguay reached the final on merit, eliminating us on the way. I’m not saying it will be a rematch but it is logical that it will have more taste.”
