Robinho predicts that Brazil can still progress to greater things at the Copa America despite the exclusion of Neymar.

Brazil’s captain is suspended for the tournament following a red card against Colombia but the Seleção still comfortably beat Venezuela in his absence. Robinho assisted the first goal in their 2-1 win and thinks the team showed enough quality to take confidence into the next round.

“Neymar is a player who makes the difference, but the team that wants to be champion can not depend on just one player. We have players who can do the job. We will do everything to improve.”

Brazil next face Paraguay in the quarter finals on Saturday.
