Real Madrid’s new right-back Danilo will begin his recovery from a sprained ankle on Tuesday at the medical facilities of Atlético Mineiro in Belo Horizonte.
The athlete, who was injured playing for the Brazil in their friendly against Mexico last week, failed to recover in time to be included in Dunga’s Copa America squad.
“I chose to be treated at Atlético after talking to Dr. Rodrigo Lasmar,” he said. “I know the structure that the club has in its medical department and physiotherapy and know it’s one of the best rehabilitation centers in Brazil. I thank Atlético for opening its doors to me. I’m better, but it will still take about 15 days to recover 100%.”
