Roma centre-back Leandro Castan has been out of action for months following brain surgery in November. The player is still in rehabilitation but told the Corriere dello Sport this week said that it was his goal to return as quickly as possible even though he knows this will not be an easy task.
“I do not want to mislead anyone, starting with myself. But the one thing I am sure of is that I will come back, because I work hard for it. I never lost faith in God. And I want to thank everyone who supported me and who stayed close to me.”
