Brazil completed their preparation for the Copa America with a 1-0 victory against Honduras in Porto Alegre.

The friendly victory was Brazil’s tenth win in a row wich should give the team plenty of confidence before their tournament opener against Peru on Sunday.

Brazil dominated the match throughout but were frustrated by a physical Honduras side who kept a rigid defensive structure. The breakthrough came in the 33rd minute thanks to great work from Filipe Luís. The Chelsea left back broke away and set up Roberto Firmino to slot home for third goal in six internationals.

Despite hinting that Neymar would start, Dunga didn’t introduce his captain until half-time. Most of the team was the same from the match against Mexico apart from Firmino who started instead of Diego Tardelli up front.
