Midfielder Felipe Anderson insists he will remain with Lazio, going into the 2015/16 campaign.

The 22 year-old has a breakout season in Serie A this term, contributing eleven goals and ten assists in 37 appearances in all competitions, to help Lazio secure a UEFA Champions League berth and a place in the Coppa Italia Final, where they were defeated by Juventus.

Unsurprisingly, Anderson’s form has not gone unnoticed and a number of clubs are believed to be keen on signing him.

The Brazil international – he earned his first cap in Sunday’s friendly victory over Mexico – has however, recently extended his contract with Lazio until June 2020 and maintains he is not looking to move elsewhere.

“Next year? All I know is I’ll be playing for Lazio,” he told reporters in Brazil, as reported by website Football Italia.

“I only recently renewed my contract for another five years. I’m thinking about that shirt, and nothing else.

“I don’t know of any offers, my future is at Lazio.”

Anderson was signed by Lazio from Santos in July 2013 for a reported fee of €7.5 million. Since then, he has featured 57 times in all competitions, but before this season had only scored one goal.
