Corinthians are considering moves for Tianjin Teda midfielder Andrezinho and Shanghai Shenxin forward Kieza, according to reports.

Website Xinuanet, citing local media including Lance!net, claims that Corinthians have already held talks with Andrezinho’s representatives, as they look to secure him on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of this month.

The 31 year-old attacking midfielder has made a good impression in China, scoring eleven goals and providing 18 assists in 51 appearances Tianjin, but may be open to returning to Brazil.

The last Brazilian team he played for was Botafogo, but they sold him for a reported fee of €2.7 million to Tianjin in 2013.

The Campinas native has also had time with Internacional, where he worked under current Corinthians Head Coach Tite and won the 2010 Copa Libertadores de América, and Flamengo, while he also spent almost four years in South Korea playing for Pohang Steelers.

Corinthians’ other target, Kieza, is currently on loan at Bahia from Shanghai Shenxin. During this temporary spell, he has performed well, scoring six goals in 23 matches, while he also managed 13 in 34 for Shenxin.

His agreement with Bahia expires at the end of this month, though whether Shenxin intend to retain him, or move him on, remains to be seen.

If Kieza does join Corinthians, he will likely be seen as a replacement for Peru international Paolo Guerrero, who left to join Flamengo in May.
