The fitness of Porto right-back Danilo is a concern to Brazil staff after he injured his ankle yesterday after a violent tackle by Mexican Guemez.
The incident took place at the end of the second half and Danilo had to be replaced by Monaco’s Fabinho. The player has been through fitness tests today to determine the severity of the injury.
Brazil will play a second friendly match against Honduras on Wednesday before flying to Chile to prepare for their first match in the competition against Peru on Sunday.
