Lazio midfielder Felipe Anderson has expressed his excitement at being included in the Brazil squad for the upcoming friendlies against Mexico and Honduras.

The 22 year old, who is currently being linked with Manchester United, has yet to play for Brazil but is confident he can contribute. He has replaced the injured Robinho.

“I am very pleased with this opportunity, I am very happy to have been called,” Anderson said at his press conference. “I have to seize the opportunity to work closely with Dunga and know all the players. I’ll work hard to demonstrate my potential and try to remain in this group.”

Anderson is not currently in the squad for the Copa America but if Robinho fails to recover he may well be given a chance by Dunga if he can impress this week.
