Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Lucas Moura has put pen to paper and signed a new contract with the club that keeps him in Paris until 2019.
The 22 year old was one of the club’s key performers in the early stages of the season but struggled in the second half of the campaign due to a groin injury. Nevertheless Lucas and PSG went on to pick up four trophies this year.
“I am very happy,” Lucas told PSG’s official website. “I’m proud to play here and I hope to continue to make progress to help the team to continue to win titles. This is my dream! I hope we will continue to win and that next season we will win the Champions League. It’s a big goal. This season was amazing. This is the first time a team wins the quadruple in France . We have achieved something extraordinary, and I’ll never forget it. I am very proud to play for Paris Saint-Germain. “
