Neymar: ‘If I was Barcelona president, I’d renew Dani Alves’ contract’

Brazilian captain Neymar has spoken out over Daniel Alves’ contract situation at Barcelona.

The Barça fullback hit out at management last week over the way he’s been treated during contract negotiations. All signs are that Alves will walk when his deal expires at the end of this month. But Neymar says: “I hope he stays. If I were the president, I would have renewed his contract by now.”
