Dani Alves looks set to leave Barcelona this summer after a season of disagreements with the Barcelona board.
Despite it being almost certain the 32 year old right back will leave the club, Lionel Messi has praised Alves and has implored him to stay. Messi is beginning to hold more and more power at Barcelona as his reputation continues to rise in world football.
“He a very complete player. He is for me the best right-back in the world and playing in the best team in the world. It is very difficult to find an athlete like Dani. I hope he stays.”
