Bracelona midfielder Xavi is set to leave the club this summer after over 500 games for the La Liga champions.
The 35 year old will now travel to Qatar to play for Al-Sadd but knows he is leaving his beloved team in good hands. He praised a host of Barcelona players including Neymar who he thinks will go on to become the best player in the world.
“He is an amazing personality. I knew his reputation in Brazil, that he was a world class player, but there is a very simple and very positive influence on the dressing room. He has as much talent as Messi and when he retires, Neymar will become the best player in the world, I have no doubt about that.” Xavi explained.
Barcelona have already won La Liga and the Copa del Rey with just the Champions League needed to complete the treble. They take on Juventus in the final on Saturday who are also aiming for their own treble.
