Barcelona are keeping an eye on young Vasco da Gama midfielder Evander.
The 17 year old Brazilian has not played a first team match at Vasco yet but is expected to become one of their main players in the upcoming years. His silky skills and pinpoint passing have already captured the eye of many with various Youtube videos now showing his highlights.
Barcelona are now trying to make a move for the youngster before his price tag rises. Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo have reported that the club has sent representatives to Brazil to talk to Vasco.
Evander is currently contracted at Vasco until 2017 and the club are keen to tie the midfielder to a longer contract. Talks are ongoing.
