Nigeria lost 4-2 to the Brazilians in the Group E opening game of the 2015 FIFA U20 World Cup played at the Stadium Taranaki, New Plymouth.
A goal in each half of the encounter by Cruzeiro forward Judivan, plus strikes from Palmeiras’ Gabriel Jesus and São Paulo playmaker Boschilia ensured the South Americans proved their superiority over the Flying Eagles. After Gabriel’s opening goal, Nigeria responded positively six minutes later with Isaac Success rounding goalkeeper Jean for the equalizer. They got their second after 28 minutes courtesy of Musa Yahaya. Judivan made it 2-2 following some neat footwork from Gabriel, and then tapped in Brazil’s fourth goal after Boschilia found the net with a long range shot.
