A host of European based clubs are believed to be tracking Vasco da Gama defender Luan, according to reports.
Website HITC Sport, citing sources close to Vasco, claim that the 22 year-old has admirers in England, Germany and Italy.
The report suggests that he could be signed for around €3 million – a fee that would not be beyond most European outfits.
Luan has grown into a regular at Vasco since making his debut in a 1-1 draw against Náutico in a Brasileirão match in 2012.
After featuring four times that season and in nine more matches in the following campaign, he came to prominence last term, making 25 appearances to help Vasco earn promotion back to Brazil’s top flight.
This season, he has featured in all three of Vasco’s Brasileirão matches, playing every minute [270] in a defence that has conceded just one goal.
Luan is contracted to Vasco until June 2017 and is able to cover at right full-back, as well as playing in his favoured role as a central defender.
The Vitória native was capped four times by Brazil’s under-20 side earlier in his career and has enjoyed success this year by being part of the Vasco side that won the Campeonato Carioca.
